The Alberta Wall & Ceiling Association (AWCA) is a non-profit organization. Our “Mission Statement” declares that “The Alberta Wall & Ceiling Association is the Provincial voice of the wall and ceiling industry, providing and promoting technical information and training to our membership, to the construction industry and consumers at large”. Simply stated: “To Better the Industry”.

The Alberta Wall & Ceiling Association’s membership includes the best & brightest within our industry including professional tradesmen, contractors, distributors and the major manufacturers of construction building materials – systems. Membership within AWCA also includes membership in “The Northwest Wall & Ceiling Bureau” that in turn provides resources, technical information in support of our Association and our “sister” organizations in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest Region of the United States. Members in good standing within “AWCA” are bound by the provisions, obligations and requirements contained in the Association’s “By-Laws” and agree to comply with the standards underscored in the Association’s “Code of Ethics”.

Members of “AWCA” meet several times each calendar year in various locations throughout Alberta to address concerns facing our industry and determine priority issues requiring the focused attention, energies and resources of our Association. Beyond regularly scheduled North (Edmonton) and South (Calgary) Region Dinner Meetings, the AWCA Board of Directors meet each month; September – June. As well, members gather in various locations in Alberta, British Columbia or in the United States to participate in our Annual General Meeting, NWCB Convention, Trade Shows and social events ranging from golf tournaments to dinner – dance events.
